My topic for this research project is high school dropouts.
There are several different aspects to this topic:
1. What is the leading cause for students dropping out?
2. Is the rate of dropout increasing or decreasing?
3. What are average dropouts doing afterwards?
4. Do all dropouts rate economicaly under high school graduates?
5. What is the success rate of dropouts?
6. What is being done to prevent dropping out?
7. What influenced most people to dropout?
8. Are there more male or female dropouts?
9. Does race play a role in dropout?
10. Is dropping out more common in large cities or rural cities?
11. What percentage of dropouts continue and get a career?
12. How often do dropouts attend college?
But I think the most vital question is 'Is the American education system failing or are the American people's definition of education and success set on one central goal for everyone?"
